There is something undeniably welcoming in the Scandi flat shown below. The neutral colours, the use of natural material and the very sophisticated use of accessories (leather, brass) make this home a delight to look at. I find the whole scheme very soothing and easy to live in, what do you think? Also, very keen on the indigo blue palette that is used in the living room.

If you are looking at the chairs above though and like what you see, here is a little more info about them. The No. 14 Chair was designed by Michael Thonet in Moravia (then Austria) in1859. He used wood, steam-bent beechwood, 10 screws, and 2 nuts. It is the most famous chair made by the Thonet chair company. Also known as the bistro chair. With its affordable price and simple design, it became one of the best-selling chairs ever made. Some 50 million No. 14s were sold between 1859 and 1930, and millions more have been sold since.
