Located in the stunning seaside clifftops of Mawgan Porth, Cornwall, this eco-hotel and spa has rooftop lounge pods and tented treatment rooms – as well as an outdoor hot tub. You can treat yourself to a seaweed and salt scrub, an Ayurvedic massage or a meditation session with amazing views of the sea.
The Scarlet is a ‘grown-ups only’ hotel, Cornwall’s escape for adults. This spa is a little different to others you might have visited. Their focus is your holistic wellbeing and the nourishment of your mind, body and soul.

The cliff top location allows views out over the landscape so while relaxing indoors you can still enjoy looking at the natural reed pool, the beach and the sea beyond. Perfect for the cold afternoons.
The use of natural materials throughout the hotel such as stone and wood creates a sensory stimulation along with textures and patterns that results in a wonderful interio landscape that can be enjoyed throughout the year.
Their stunning Relaxation Room has cocoon-like pods swinging from the ceiling where you can drift away following your treatment and really absorb its benefits. Eco has never felt so good.
The strong connection with nature is also amplified by the lack of an indoors gym - the guests have the whole beach at their disposal for physical benefit whether for a walk or run. You can even get Jasper, the hotel dog, a whippet, for a walk along the beach with you! He is always up for a good walk.
You can use the Spa, whether a hotel guest or not. With its luxury tented treatment rooms lit by lanterns and its far-reaching views over Mawgan Porth Beach to the wild Atlantic beyond, the Scarlet Spa is essentially a quiet, contemplative, almost spiritual place.
