Wouldn’t it be nice to get away to the sun-soaked beaches and shimmering turquoise waters of the Virgin Islands?  After all, they’re a veritable gateway to relaxation, personal discovery, and amazing adventures.

Exploring the beauty and mystique of the Virgin Islands sounds even better when you can do it from your private yacht.

There’s something exquisite and magical about island hopping and enjoying the bliss of having your favorite creature comforts close at hand.

Did I mention the private yacht?  Yes, it is possible.

Elevate Your Island Hopping With Boutique Yachting

When it comes to visiting the Virgin Islands the best way has always been island hopping.  Now you can do that from your own private yacht instead of hanging out with crowds of strangers cramming the deck of a ferry.  Talk about living the dream!

Every last detail feels like it’s tailored just for you when you step aboard your chartered vessel. Reaching those untouched beaches and secluded bays becomes possible when traveling via private yacht.

Adventure Awaits, And Your Perfect Yacht Does Too

The tone for your trip begins with choosing the right yacht.  Whether you’re a seasoned sailor or a complete first timer, crewed yacht charters are the way to travel.

First off, you have the luxury of a professional captain who knows every nook and cranny of the islands.  Next, you have the choice of hiring a private chef who can whip up fresh dishes after a long day of island adventures (or lounging in the shade of a palm).

Your priorities matter: Are you craving indulgence? Then choose a luxury catamaran that includes expansive decks and plush interiors and expansive decks. Or maybe you prefer charm and practicality? Then check out the sleek design of a monohull.

Hiring a private yacht is so much more than simply booking a mode of transportation, it’s about crafting a memorable vacation experience that you’ll savor long after you return home.

Uncovering the Hidden Gems of the Virgin Islands.

You might already be familiar with popular destinations like Tortola or St. Thomas, but there are so many other hidden gems just waiting to be discovered in the Virgin Islands.

Let’s start with Salt Island, for example.  A place of fascinating history, quiet history.  Here you can visit shipwreck sites, and salt ponds.  Maybe all you need to be happy is a little patch of sand and the gorgeous view of stunning turquoise water.  If that’s the case, then Sandy Spit is the epitome of what you’re seeking in a tropical paradise.

Then there’s the beach that is rumored to have inspired the famed “Treasure Island”. Normand Island is the place to go if you’re looking for a snorkeling adventure through caves that are teeming with marine life.

Because of their relative obscurity, these locations remain pristine.  If you’re looking for something special beyond the typical tourist trail, check out these hidden gems.

Must-Try Local Cuisine During Your Yacht Charter Experience

What’s the point of island hopping by yacht if you don’t have delicious food to enjoy during your adventures?

Start your day with amazing fresh fruit purchased from local markets, or maybe enjoy the Caribbean staple of johnnycakes prepared for you on board.

For lunch, try pulling up for lobster near Anegada.  Here the seafood is so fresh it practically leaps onto your plate, and could even be grilled for you beachside if your timing is just right.

Then, as the day draws to a close, try visiting Jost Van Dyke’s famous Foxy’s Bar where you can enjoy conch fritters and live music beneath the leaves of gently swaying palm trees.

Planning Your Adventures to Include Seasonal Highlights

When taking the time to plan a Virgin Islands yachting adventure, timing is of the essence.

Visiting during the winter months, specifically December through April, is when you can expect to enjoy the ideal weather.  This is because the calm seas and cooler breezes are so attractive to the many travelers looking to escape the colder climates back home.

For a quieter vacation experience, consider visiting during late spring or early summer.  Here you’ll enjoy warm days without the added hustle and bustle of the peak-season crowds.  You’ll feel like you’re in your own private paradise as you explore popular snorkeling spots and tranquil beaches.

It should be noted that hurricane season runs from June to November, but usually starts to taper off around Mid-October.  Fewer tourists visit the Virgin Islands during this time period, but adventurous travelers may find some fantastic off-season deals.

Your Private Yacht Awaits: It’s Time to Create Your Story

Cherished moments in the Virgin Islands begin with arranging your private charter.  From there you’ll enjoy vibrant marine life, hidden coves, and beloved memories created on deck.  Now your adventures can be truly personal - a blend of luxury, freedom, and experiences tailored just for you.
