Little Greene Pink Collection
For the seventh year running, the Little Greene Paint Company has joined forces with national charity, Breast Cancer Haven, to promote and support Breast Cancer Awareness month. For the whole of October 2017, Little Greene customers will be actively helping to support people with breast cancer.
Little Greene has pledged that 15p from every tin of paint and roll of wallpaper sold via the company’s 270 UK-wide stockists, or through its website, will be donated directly to Breast Cancer Haven.

Little Greene recently launched its capsule collection of Pinks, which includes the delightful Dorchester Pink Colour Scales, four graduating tones based on the original Dorchester Pink, a restful shade originally referred to in a 1960s article on an interior in the Dorchester hotel.
With centres in London, Hereford, Yorkshire, Wessex and Worcester, Breast Cancer Haven is the only national breast cancer charity that provides oneto-one support to improve the quality of life of anyone affected by breast cancer. Working in partnership with the NHS, Breast Cancer Haven offers a free, integrated breast cancer support service and a telephone service for patients unable to travel to one of their centres.

Specialist nurses and experts in nutrition, exercise, complementary therapies and emotional support provide tailor-made programmes of care for each visitor. Breast Cancer Haven’s programme of care costs around £1,500 to deliver to each visitor and the charity relies on donations of individuals and organisations to deliver its services.
Since opening, Breast Cancer Haven has provided over 750,000 appointments and has helped over 12,000 visitors. Managing Director David Mottershead confirms:
“What better way to support a charity and raise awareness than to pick a shade of pink to brighten up your home? Last year our loyal customers raised just over £12,000 for the charity – and I’m completely confident that we’ll beat that record total this year.
Pink is such a joyous colour that imbues the home with a sense of life and wellbeing – the same focus that Breast Cancer Haven adopts to help improve the quality of life those affected by cancer. Breast Cancer Haven provides free personalised care and support for patients nationally and the funds Little Greene helps raise make a significant difference.”

Pamela Healy OBE, Breast Cancer Haven’s Chief Executive adds:
“This is the seventh time we have worked with Little Greene and we are thrilled that the company has once again chosen us as the charity to benefit from its support during Breast Cancer Awareness month.
We receive no Government funding, so every penny raised is hard won and spent wisely on life-changing and life-affirming services. Pink is the colour of the moment, so update your home all the while knowing that you’re supporting a fantastic charity. Paint it pink in October!”
Little Greene will be holding a Breast Cancer Awareness dinner on 20 October 2017 at ‘The Monastery’, a beautiful 19th Century former Franciscan friary in Manchester and will include a three course dinner, dancing and charity auction. Tickets are priced at £100 per guest or £950 for a table of ten and can be purchased via Little Greene on 0161 230 0880.
