SPOT ON! I do feel that Dulux trend-setters, style gurus and all round colour experts got it so right with their Colour of the year 2016 Cherished Gold.

The new colour palette was annouced on the 15th September 2015 and it looks like gold is the way to go for 2016. The lovely ochre colour chosen by Dulux will work fabulously with greys and blues and you can accessorize rooms with brass and copper accessories without making the room feel too matchy-matchy.

I am really excited with the new colour palette as well, shown below; just how well does the dusky pink go with ochre, who would have thought (obviously Dulux experts did!). The colour also works well with other warm neutral colours.
