House Tour - Colourful Living room
Besides my office, the living room is the one place I spend a lot of time in and I have Netflix to blame for it. As if binge-watching LOVE IS BLIND was not enough, the popular subscription service just launched Love is Blind - The Reunion; so just to be clear, mom will not be cooking this week.
Jokes aside, our living room is about to have a major overhaul next month when we will tone it down (and see further below our plans) but for the time being, here what it currently looks like and how you can replicate the look (if you like what you see of course!).

WALLPAPER
We always want the things we don't have, so it comes as no surprise that I wanted (for quite some time) to have a grasscloth effect wallpaper in the living room. The one that we used was from Jen Churchill (Astral in Rust) and you can find it on Colefax and Fowler; it is a beautiful warm terracotta colour.
HERMES FRAMED SCARVES
Having worn both scarves for a number of years, I decided to add them on our walls. The framing was not cheap (£150/frame) but the white thick frame gives a contemporary edge and the colours are rich and warm. Neon greens and beautiful fuchsia and magenta reflect the colours on the couch and cushions.

MIRROR
I picked this fancy mirror on EBAY but that was way before round mirrors were a big thing, so if you are looking to replace an existing mirror or add a new one I would highly recommend you try JOHN LEWIS & PARTNERS as they are about to launch their spring Summer 2020 range of mirrors which includes a scalloped one. The mirror is over the gas fireplace.
COFFEE TABLE
This handy square mother of all coffee tables, weights an absolute tone when filled with books and the reason I purchased it is because it is really robust and the lack of glass means that we can stretch our feet on it when watching a movie (mom look away now!).
It is a LA REDOUTE find and they no longer stock it but you can find similar in many retailers including MAISONS DU MONDE.
