DIY - Gold Pendant light

It only takes a bit of spray paint to seriously glam up a plain pendant light.

What you will need

• Pendant light

• Garbage bag

• Painter’s tape

• Gold spray paint

1 If it’s already assembled, dismantle the pendant light. You’ll have two separate pieces: the shade and the part that attaches the shade to the chain.

2 Cover the exterior of the shade with a garbage bag, and secure the bag to the edge of the shade’s lip using painter’s tape.

3 Cover the light’s cord and chain in painter’s tape.

4 Spray-paint the shade’s interior and outer lip gold; spray-paint the second piece gold.5 Let dry, assemble and hang according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
